thuongAttending the handover report session of the Hanoi Studies WEBSITE on behalf of Hanoi Metropolitan University were Dr. Bui Quoc Hoan, Vice President of the University; representatives of the Institute of Hanoi Studies and International Training: Dr. Le Thu Huong – Director, Dr. Trinh Ngoc Anh – Deputy Director, Dr. Bui Anh Tuan – Deputy Director; representatives in charge of the university library; along with faculty members from various departments and offices of Hanoi Metropolitan University.

thuongThe WEBSITE content focuses on educating historical and cultural knowledge of Thang Long – Hanoi, which is of great significance in helping students in the Capital understand the historical, cultural, and scientific values of historical and cultural relics; recognize the position and potential of the Capital; thereby fostering pride and awareness of respecting and preserving the historical and cultural values of the Capital and the nation. Especially in the current context of globalization, national historical and cultural identity is regarded as a core value of each nation. 

thuongWith the objective of making the Hanoi Studies WEBSITE a learning and research resource for schools across the Capital, it helps pupils, students, and researchers gain a deeper understanding of the more than 1,000-year history and culture of Thang Long – Hanoi that has forged the core values of the elegant and civilized Hanoi people. The elegance of Hanoians is reflected in their lifestyle, family and community activities, communication and behavior, culinary culture, and more. 

thuongAt the handover meeting, members of the Council listened to presentations on the process of construction and design, the content structure, as well as the digital library bookshelf platforms of Hanoi Studies and VR360 for tourism services on digital platforms. Highly appreciating the results of the website design and construction by THT Technology Investment and Development Company, representatives of Hanoi Metropolitan University, the Institute of Hanoi Studies, and Council members affirmed that this is a serious, well-crafted WEBSITE with significant value in disseminating knowledge of Hanoi’s history and culture. It also serves as material for teaching and scientific research, particularly as the WEBSITE applies modern technologies such as a digital library bookshelf on Hanoi Studies and VR360 virtual tourism experiences. The Hanoi Studies WEBSITE has contributed to raising awareness of the value of historical and cultural sites and scenic landmarks, as well as enhancing the awareness of the community in general and younger generations in particular regarding the preservation, conservation, utilization, and promotion of the cultural and historical values of historical and cultural sites and scenic landmarks in Hanoi.

thuongAfter completion, THT Technology Investment and Development Co., Ltd. handed over to Hanoi Metropolitan University and the Institute of Hanoi Studies the technology and technical transfer, as well as the content management component. Along with this, Hanoi Metropolitan University and the Institute of Hanoi Studies will develop the content of the Hanoi Studies WEBSITE as wholesome educational materials, bringing knowledge of Hanoi Studies into schools in order to nurture and foster personality, ethics, and lifestyles for the young generation of the Capital, aiming toward the cultural value system and standards of Vietnamese people in the new era.
